As in most new technologies these days, there is a need to consider the ownership of private data above and beyond commercial interests. The sneakiness with which some players are using private data (be it address, mail, call, calendar or, as in this case, movement/location data) is giving even useful technology a bad name.
Yet, projections of installations for the near future are high, as the combination of location based and tracking data is most useful for many purposes, including the sneaky ones.
